A solid "B." I love art museums, and the OKCMOA does not disappoint. It's a classy space. I only wish the admission prices were more reasonable (it probably needs more corporate underwriting to make that happen). Every time I go, I'm practically the only visitor, which creeps me out a little. SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE FILM HOUSE: The theater isn't listed under Wimgo Movies, so I'll have to include this here. The OKCMOA is as close as OKC gets to having an alternative film house, and thank heavens we've got it. Kudos to whoever books the films -- they're almost all home runs. Drawbacks: the theater feels like a college auditorium. It's antiseptic. Naturally, the younger crowd -- hip intellectuals, et al. --stays away, which is a great shame. Like a lot of the new institutions downtown, OKCMOA caters to Old Money Oklahomans but can't quite figure out how to become indispensable to the rest of us.
